If a person practices good oral hygiene, it will result into a mouth the looks well and smells great too. Good oral hygiene will make your teeth clean and free from plaque; I am not talking about address plaque but the debris found on the teeth.

If you have good oral hygiene, your gums are healthy pink and you would not experience hurt or bleeding when you floss or brush your teeth. You would not worry about bad breath problems too.

Good oral hygiene will also reduce the risk of developing gum disease, tooth decay and other dental problems. You should brush your teeth at least twice a day and visit your dentist regularly to have your teeth and gums checked.

Losing weight is not actually as hard as it seems.  In fact there are so many weight loss programs available in the health market today. But not all these programs are effective and successful. If you are determined to achieve your ideal weight, there are three basic steps that you need to do:

  • Eat more. Instead of eating three large meals a day; you can break it down to six smaller meals. Make sure that you eat healthy foods too. If you want to get the exact serving size of each food, you may use a weighing scale that looks like a lab balance.
  • Drink more. Quench your thirst by drinking water. When you drink water before eating; you will feel fuller and you will not be eating too many foods.
  • Walk more. If you really want to lose weight, you have to take at least 5000 steps per day. It will help a lot if you have a pedometer to keep track on the steps that you have made.
